Passion flower tea is a caffeine free herbal tea, it comes from the fresh or dried leaves and petals of the passion flower, the plant is also known as passiflora, it comes from the family passifloraceae. There are over 500 species of passion flowers and vines known globally. Passion flower tea originates in Asia, Australasia, and Polynesian islands, for many years it was mainly used by the North and South Native Americans then spread to Europe after some time. Passion flower tea contains minerals such a: B-vitamins, magnesium, iron, zinc and iodine. Passion flower tea has a very fresh and floral flavor with a hint of a grassy taste.
