“As much as you can eat healthy, it’s also important to remember to drink healthy too. Tea is very healing.”

What is Herbal Tea?

The origins of herbal tea are native to Ancient China and Ancient Egypt, used for a thousand years for their medical properties and flavorful, earthy taste.

Herbal tea is the extraction and blend of leaves, edible flowers, fruits, roots, bark, spices and herbs, which can be made from almost any form of natural ingredient, creating a delicious vibrant and sapid flavored beverage, usually containing no caffeine.

In some parts of the world, herbal tea is known as tisanes.

There are over hundreds of herbal teas, all varying in their benefits and flavor. The vitamins, minerals and antioxidants found in the natural leaves provide many long terms and short-term health benefits which are:

  • Improve physical health
  • Improve mental health
  • Improves emotions
  • Treats colds (clearing nasal passages, stops heavy coughs, reduce asthma)
  • Relieves stress and improves relaxation
  • Contains antiaging properties
  • Boosts immune system
  • Improves digestion (reduce indigestion, bloating, vomiting)
  • Improves/ fixes sleep disorders.

Although herbal teas are known to be natural, that doesn’t mean that they are safe for everyone. If pregnant or about to go under surgery or have any allergies consult with your doctor if it’s safe.
